Earlier today, Vaughn USA tweeted the picture below of Jack Campbell‘s new Star’s themed Vaughn 7800 goal pads and gloves.

The pads are Vaughn’s 7800 model, with a modified V4 graphic. The tribal spear tips of the graphic have been modified to look like stars. Additional stars have been placed on other areas of the pad as well. This appears to be the same graphic that Vaughn did for Jack Campbell last year, only with a red white and blue color scheme for his Team USA bid. The set was never used on ice.

Whether you like them or not, there is no arguing that this set is unique! The Dallas Stars are rumored to be wearing new uniforms next season that will feature an updated Star logo and slightly modified color arrangement. Perhaps this is a preview of those new uniforms. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!!

Here is a quick look at the brand new Bauer Reactor 6000 Pro goalie line by our friend Chris Dudo at HockeyGiant. Chris was recently given the opportunity to demo a 35+1″, all white set of glove, blocker and pads. Here is his feedback:

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

Pads - When I first picked up the Bauer Reactor 6000 Pro Goalie Leg Pads, they seemed to have an even weight distribution and didn’t feel bottom heavy like most hybrid pads do. I noticed that the pads are very flexible, but spring right back into shape. This is attributed to Bauer’s ProCore which is a full sheet but with flex points at all breaks. This allows for great flex, but no breakdowns like hand stuffed boots.

The leg channel has a traditional look to it with a decently tight feel. The knee area is wider than a traditional hybrid pad and allows for great freedom of movement. In between the inner leg protector and the inner calf wrap, there is a very squishy foam piece that acts as a hidden balance stabilizer.

The replaceable buckles are a great touch and can be moved with a screw driver. This allows for freedom of strapping, but also creates durability so the buckles don’t ever slide out.

When I put the pads on, they have a great feel to them and feels exactly how a traditional goalie pad would feel. Landing on the knee blocks was very soft and the breaks of the pads created a natural bend when I wanted, but would also stay straight if I didn’t want them to flex.

Catch Glove – The Bauer Reactor 6000 Pro Catch Glove has a very natural hand placement and feels just like a Vaughn T5500. It has a lower hand angle which creates more of a horizontal break. The glove is decently stiff, but after 5 minutes in the skate oven, it closed easily.

Blocker - The Bauer Reactor 6000 Pro Blocker is one of my favorite parts of gear and is the most underrated piece of the set in my opinion. I loved this blocker for the fact that it seemed to encompass all of the aspects of the blockers that I have grown to love over the years. The hand placement seems to be shifted down a little bit lower than other models, but has a thicker board on. This board is incredibly well balanced and has a great feel. The inner wall is stiff, but very adjustable. The finger protection area is very beefy, to the point it actually made it hard to hold a stick, at first. That feeling eased up after a little bit of use.

AFTER 3 USES ON THE ICE:

Pads – The pads are great! The pads slide very well, close the five hole well and have a good medium rebound. I find the rebounds to be not as soft as a Vaughn, but definitely not as hard as a Reebok. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being a soft rebound, 10 being a hard rebound. I would rate them between a 5-6. The rotation was perfect and they felt like a pillow to land on. I used both of the straps through the knee block to help secure a good fit.

Catch Glove – The glove was little stiffer than expected but still closed when needed, allowed me to get a great grip when shooting overhand, and naturally cradled pucks. I didn’t feel any stingers and did not experience any popouts. The extra skate lace styled pocket felt easier to close than the stock round rope and allowed a good amount of movement when opening and closing the glove.

Blocker - The blocker had great hard rebounds and allowed for great stick movement. The inside cuff and finger protection wasn’t as bulky as I was expecting and let me move my stick with ease. The only issue I had was transitioning to a blocker with a lower hand placement. I am very familiar with having higher hand placement so the adjustment was necessary but was gone after the first skate.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

All in all, the new Bauer Reactor 6000 Pro gear feels great right out of the box. Nice and flexible when you want it, but stiff and rigid when you need it. I had great freedom of movement and was easily able to use this gear in 3 straight games. I would highly recommend it to the goalie who is looking for great traditional feel, but wants a pad with durability

Head over to your local Hockey Giant store or HockeyGiant.com online and order your set today!!

If you haven’t already heard, the 24th annual Let’s Play Hockey Expo is set to begin today (Friday) in St. Paul, MN. It’s being held from 10am to 5pm both today and tomorrow (Saturday), and is open to the public. There is no admission fee.

For the first time ever, @PadsTracker and @The Goalie Guild will be in attendance. Justin Goldman and Mathew Abraham (@Mash_Designs) will be roaming the Rivercentre, stopping by to check out all the booths, meeting equipment and marketing reps, and checking out every piece of goalie gear this amazing trade show has to offer.

So make sure you’re following us on Twitter this weekend, and submit a request to join our PadsTracker Facebook Group as well — we’ll be posting photos and dropping notes and maybe even a few videos on the latest goalie equipment being showcased at the Expo.

Bauer, Brian’s, Combat, Graf, Montreal, Sher-Wood, Stomp, Vaughn, and Pro’s Choice masks will be there displaying various goalie gear, so we have plenty of booths to visit, and lots of information to absorb over the next 48 hours!

To get a complete list of every vendor participating in this year’s trade show, click here. Below the LPH logo will be an updated blog on our experiences this weekend!

FRIDAY, MARCH 8

[9:30a] Justin here. I’m sooo excited for this weekend! I moved up here back in July for this exact reason — to get more involved with the growing goalie community. Colorado was a beautiful place to live, but it was somewhat a goalie wasteland; there’s not much out there in terms of goalie-specific coaching, training, or manufacturing.

But here in Minnesota, it’s like heaven on earth for this goalie guy. Hockey is everywhere, it’s the way of life if you’re a sports fan, everyone’s talking about the NHL, NCAA, and high school teams, and that’s exactly where I belong.

The more exciting part of this weekend is the fact that, after knowing this guy for almost four years, I finally get to hang out with my good friend Mathew. Mash has not only been a massive help in terms of growing The Goalie Guild brand, but he has supported my endeavors from the get-go, so we’ve become really good friends just by chatting online, on the phone, and working on this PadsTracker project together.

Fortunately, I moved into my new home just last week, so there’s an extra bedroom here for him to crash, and he doesn’t have to pay for a hotel.

Since this is our first time hanging out together, it’s sure to be an awesome weekend at the LPH Expo. We’ll be meeting some really cool goalie guys during the show, and we’ll have a chance to spread the word about our brand. We also get to hang out at the Hockey Giant booth, and show our support for the new exclusive sponsor of the PadsTracker community!

Over the past year, Mathew and I have tossed around so many different ideas regarding PadsTracker. The first step was turning it into it’s own website, which we did successfully back in August. The lockout damaged our growth like it did everyone else in the hockey community, but it didn’t destroy us.

Now we’re looking to build on the momentum we’ve generated since January, and this weekend will be a massive step forward in that direction. We want to make PadsTracker the most unique goalie equipment website out there, and even though we are both very busy with our other duties (Mathew has a family and a full-time job, while I am always so crazy busy with The Goalie Guild and my part-time job working for my family’s business), we love what we do here, and we know it’s something that has great potential for growth.

OK that’s it for now … I just wanted to take a moment to set the stage for this weekend, and give you guys more of an inside look at the innerworkings of this constantly-evolving project. Remember to follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and let the gluttonous weekend of goalie gear begin!

SATURDAY, MARCH 9

12:00p — Well, Friday was as crazy as I thought, but way more draining! We were going non-stop from the moment I picked up Mathew from the airport until close to 9pm when we finally got home. If you haven’t already, check out our Facebook Group and @PadsTracker feed for a handful of shots from the show.

We are heading back there in a few hours, so hang tight and I’ll have a more in-depth breakdown of who we met, and what we learned!

I can tell you that the overall experience for the first day was amazing. The atmosphere of the show is excellent — everyone is meeting up with old friends, making new connections, discussing their products, and selling gear. I was really excited to meet some friends I have known online for years, but never had a chance to meet face-to-face until today.

That included Peter Ing, a former Maple Leafs goaltender that now owns Hockey X Products, Dom Malerba from Pro’s Choice masks, Zach Sikich and AJ Bucchino from Pro-Hybrid Goaltending, and many more!

:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

PADSTRACKER JOINS FORCES WITH HOCKEY GIANT

March 5, 2013: The Goalie Guild is proud to announce an exclusive new partnership with Hockey Giant by naming them as the official equipment retailer of the PadsTracker community.

PadsTracker is a website dedicated to tracking the pads worn by the pros. Created in 2009 by The Goalie Guild founder Justin Goldman, this free tool started as a simple list of every active NHL goalie and their current gear setup. Since then, it has grown to include a vast library of NHL and blank goalie pad templates, all of which are professionally designed and updated by Mathew Abraham from Mash Designs.

In 2012, the PadsTracker and PadsFactory tools were further expanded to include its very own website, which exists inside The Goalie Guild network. PadsTracker.com now houses over 300 free goalie pad templates and reaches thousands of goalies every day through their Facebook group and Twitter feed.

“We are excited to partner with a top-notch equipment retailer like Hockey Giant,” said Goldman. “Their selection of goalie equipment and their knowledgeable staff makes them a perfect fit for an exclusive sponsor. We’re proud to promote their brand through our PadsTracker social networks and we look forward to developing a long-lasting relationship together.”

With more brands of goalie gear increasing their number of different customizations and modifications, PadsTracker is the ultimate place for goalies to show off their favorite pad designs, while also providing equipment retailers and manufacturers with “mock-ups” used to create and input custom orders. This not only simplifies the process for the customer and the company, but it’s also a way for goalies to flex their creative muscles in a simple and fun way.

“The opportunity to partner with PadsTracker was one too good to pass up,” said Aaron Shattuck, eCommerce Sales and Marketing Manager for Hockey Giant. “At Hockey Giant, we are very excited to take part in the design and creation process, helping goalies bring their custom creations to life, enabling them to perform at their best.”

PadsTracker also takes requests for personalized or customized templates. If a goalie has a special type of logo or pattern they want to see on a certain type of pad, it can be created. Requests are taken through the Facebook group or Twitter feed and are then published in the PadsFactory for everyone to see.

“PadsTracker is poised for tremendous growth over the next few years through more social-networking and more mask and pad design contests, but none of that is possible without an exclusive title sponsor,” said Mathew Abraham, lead designer for PadsTracker. “Now that we have partnered with Hockey Giant, they have opened the door for us to interact and engage with our growing community in different ways.”

Recently added to the PadsFactory by request, introducing the all-new Passau Axiom gear.

This latest release from Passau features a flat-faced design and a very unique graphic, one that reminds us of an animal ripping through the face of the pad with sharp claws.

Although Passau has been around for over two decades, they are starting to make some waves in the custom goalie equipment industry. For those of you not familiar with this brand, here’s some info from their website that explains where the Passau name comes from:

“For a period of almost 500 years up until the Renaissance, the town of Passau was one of the most prolific centres of sword and weapons manufacture in Germany. Passau blacksmiths emblazoned their blades with the symbol of a running wolf, a mark which eventually grew in stature to take on mythical proportions. Passau swords and armour came to be known for such high quality that superstitious warriors believed them to confer invulnerability on the bearer. Today, Passau Goalie equipment rekindles these values, building premium goalie equipment.”

As big fans of the Medieval, The Goalie Guild and PadsTracker is excited to include Passau equipment in our PadsFactory. Download the template and start crafting your custom set today!

PadsTracker is proud to announce that they have joined forces with the GoalieCrease Network to house the new PadsTracker forums, while also further promoting the two unique brands and communities.

This new partnership came together effortlessly and seamlessly over the past two weeks, and thanks to some strong friendships becoming even stronger, it has created an exciting endeavor on both sides.

PadsTracker, which is co-owned by Justin Goldman and Mathew Abraham, is an extension of The Goalie Guild (founded by Goldman in 2009) that broke off into its own site just last month. The GoalieCrease Network, which was originally founded by Jason Craig, was recently sold to Tomy Ames.

Ames and Abraham are close friends that live in the St. Louis area, and once Ames took over GoalieCrease, he contacted PadsTracker to form this new partnership.

“I was committed to building a new message board exclusively on our PadsTracker website, but when I met Tomy and got to know him, I was impressed with his passion for his new role with GoalieCrease,” Goldman said. “Knowing his commitment level to building the GoalieCrease community was so strong, I was even more committed to partnering with him and his website. Having GoalieCrease house our forums not only makes sense, but it’s a win-win for both sides.”

The GoalieCrease Network has a community of over 3,000 members, and as such, everyone will have a chance to utilize and share the different PadsTracker tools. Both sides will work together to not only host unique contests in the future, but to give readers and members opportunities to celebrate the goalie gear culture we all love to embrace.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to bring together a vibrant community with the incredible following that PadsTracker has,” Ames said. “Every goalie loves to theorize his or her next set of pads, and PadsTracker is a wonderful tool that lets goalies see their dreams in action. With that passion combined with our community’s knowledge of upcoming goalies, and a thirst to see what all of the NHL’ers are wearing, this is a wonderful relationship that was just waiting to happen. I’m glad we could partner to give goalies around the world these opportunities.”

Due to the growth of the PadsTracker tools and templates, members will also have the first chance to become official writers for the website. This is a great opportunity for budding journalists and dedicated “gear-heads” to join an exclusive staff of professional hockey writers and graphic artists.

“The Goalie Guild and PadsTracker brands are growing at an exponential rate, and we’ve reached a point where we want to open doors for others to join in the fun,” Abraham said. “Now that PadsTracker has partnered with the GoalieCrease Network, we want to give their members an opportunity to join our army of pad-tracking enthusiasts. Justin is busy managing The Goalie Guild and I’m busy designing the templates, so it’s a great opportunity for anyone that wants to kick-start a career in the goalie industry.”

Although very little is known about the construction of the brand new G-NETik series from Brian’s, we do know what they look like. And that means we’ve whipped up the latest additions to our growing library of templates in our PadsFactory.

G-NETik: Pads | Glove | Blocker

Since we’ve worked with Brian’s in the past, we made sure to hit up pad rep Chris Joswiak to ask him for a quick teaser on the gear. Here’s what he had to say:

“The world’s lightest, most innovative and customizable hybrid-style pad for 2013. It will be worn by pro’s such as Jaroslav Halak, Chris Mason, and Eddie Lack. It’s available to the public on October 22nd, 2012 at Brian’s certified dealers.”

From the G-NETik teaser website, we’ve learned the pads include the following:

The lightest, state of the art materials

Revolutionary user-custom strapping system

Unparalleled Canadian hand-built craftsmanship

Innovative ‘Full Flex Knee’ system

We also know the G-NETik pads will offer goalies the option of having the same smart straps found on their Sub-Zero pads, or the traditional leather straps, which are removable and replaceable.

Other than that, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see what Brian’s has in store for us when they officially release spec and customization details in the near future. But for now, feel free to download our free PadsFactory templates and show off a set with your favorite colors!

Over the summer, the Colorado Avalanche signed three goalie prospects to new entry-level contracts. One of them belongs to Boston University Terriers standout Kieran Millan, who was chosen 124th overall in the 2009 NHL Draft.

The former Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL) goalie posted a 20-14-1 record with a .923 save percentage and a 2.60 goals-against average as a senior last year, breaking his own BU record for saves in a season with 1,110. But that’s just scratching the surface of his accomplishments in the NCAA, as he also set school records for wins (81), saves (3,768) and games played by a goaltender with 138.

And who could forget the memorable Hockey East quarterfinals game against New Hampshire, where he stopped a career-high 68 shots in a double-overtime, series-clinching win.

Now Kieran is ready to graduate to the pro ranks, as he’ll fight with three other goalies (Calvin Pickard, Sami Aittokallio and NCAA counterpart Kent Patterson) for a job on the Lake Erie Monsters squad.

His new mask, which was painted by our good friend Sylvie Marsolais from Sylabrush, proves he means business.

“Kieran wanted to stay with something similar to last year’s BU mask,” Marsolais said. “He wanted to keep the split line on the forehead, but wanted the separated lines to be much thinner, with a mountain design and paws inside it. He also asked for a Yeti-themed mask, but one that included the Avalanche logo and their secondary footprint logo, too.”

The white base to this mask gives the whole design a clean look, while the Avalanche logo is prominently displayed on both sides. White obviously meshes well with an Avalanche theme, and we especially like the Yeti’s shading, and powder-blue color.

“Kieran likes symmetrical designs, so I came up with a mix of his pads design and the Avalanche logo for both sides of the mask, and then I decided to put the Yeti just above that. We finished things off by putting the Yeti footprint on the chin.”

For those wondering what Sylvie meant by “a mix” of his pads design, be sure to check out the custom graphic from his Brian’s pads in our PadsFactory.

Like most goalies these days, the backplate is a perfect place to display personal mementos, or memorandums of important people, places, and things. Millan added a real nice touch to his first pro mask by remembering the lives lost in the theater shooting tragedy back on August 20 in Aurora, Colorado.

“Kieran asked for something similar to his BU backplate, with his family name on the bottom, a Canadian maple leaf, and the BU paws. But we also added the official ribbon for the theater tragedy that happened last month, and some lines of the Colorado mountains to give some more details and colors on the backplate.”

Complete with white straps, white snaps, and a chrome cat-eye cage, this mask will certainly stick out when Millan hits the ice for Lake Erie’s training camp early next month! We wish Kieran the best of luck, and we also want to thank Sylvie for giving us exclusive photos of his new Avalanche-themed mask.

As we all know by now, Carey Price is ready to rock and roll this season with a brand new set of CCM “Extreme Flex” pads. The first to display the new series from Reebok, Price continues to be at the forefront of style and design with his gear.

Considering he wore Vaughn pads for a number of years, and then switched over to the Reebok Premier series, this move to the new CCM Extreme Flex pads makes sense. Although we don’t have any official specs on these pads, they clearly offer Price a more flexible pad compared to the P4′s. That means he have found the best of both worlds, as he’ll get the functionality of a Reebok, but with a little bit more of a softer feel from a Vaughn.

Either way, there’s no doubt in our mind that Price will be stopping plenty of pucks when the season gets underway.

The graphic on these pads are not surprisingly minimal, as he displays only a single red streak on either pad. It obviously matches his gloves, which complete the set with matching graphics.

The white-based approach will look very sharp in both home and away Habs jerseys, which is nothing new for one of the finest and most positionally sound goalies in the entire universe.

Despite the doom and gloom of a potential lockout this weekend, Monday was a pretty exciting day for goalies around the globe. Although it had been leaked a few weeks prior that CCM just might be back in the goalie pad business, it was finally confirmed today when Carey Price suddenly tweeted photos of his brand new gloves and leg pads.

Although very little is known about the specific construction and identity of these CCM pads, we were able to create a set of PadsFactory templates to match the new set. The line is called the “Extreme-Flex” series, and while we’re going off a single pair of customized pads for Price, it’s enough to give goalies a chance to create a set using your favorite colors.

Knowing that the pads are made by Reebok (owners of the CCM brand), the “Extreme-Flex” series likely provides goalies with an alternative and more flexible solution to the stiffer “pro” construction of the Premier-4 pads.

CCM “Extreme Flex” Templates: Glove | Blocker | Pads

We obviously don’t want to speculate on any aspect of the pad’s construction, but it might very well be designed by Lefevre, based on the tag visible on the unbranded version we had seen several pro goalies testing, including Price.

Feel free to download the full-set template, or a template of the leg pads, the glove, or the blocker from our PadsFactory, and be sure to show off your personalized set in our Facebook group or by tweeting a pic to us at @PadsTracker!

We’re personally very excited to see CCM back in the goalie gear game. From the Gatekeepers to the Blockades, CCM was a staple in the goalie pad industry for many years, and they were adored by goalies from all over. Now it looks like we’ll have a chance to renew acquaintances with a line that was worn by goalies like Ryan Miller, Marc Denis, and many more!

The Monster recently crossed the Canada-US border and thanks to this special report from MiHockeyNow.com, we now know he was last seen wearing a Red Wings uniform and a brand new set of Warrior Ritual pads.

After three rough-and-tumble seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Jonas Gustavsson took his talents to Detroit, where he signed a new two-year deal worth $3 million big ones.

Warrior, which is based in Warren, MI, was holding a photography showcase for their NHL-endorsed goalies, and Michael Caples from MiHockeyNow caught up with Gustavsson during the event.

“It’s been going great today,” Gustavsson said. “The Warrior guys are always good to me. Coming here and doing the photo shoot is fun, so it’s been a good day so far.”

Because of this photo shoot, we were able to create his template for the new season and get a head start on tracking his pads for his first year with Detroit!

The Warrior pads, made by renowned pad creator Pete Smith, offer terrific pro-level protection in a lightweight and streamlined package. Their exclusive binding-less construction allows for increased durability by taking away the typical wear points on leg pads, and their new ‘Knee Leveler’ stabilizes the knee landing area as well.

There are also plenty of adjustable strap positions on the pad, including three different spots on the boot.

The Warrior Rituals also have an exclusive post wedge panel, which provides increased protection to the outer calf. It also helps Gustavsson to seal the pad to the post when he’s crouching, which is beneficial for the lanky Swede. The sliding toe bridge is another benefit for Gustavsson, as the thin thigh rises allow the top of his pads to overlap each other when in his wide stance.

Overall, Gustavsson has continued his loyalty to the Warrior brand with his first set for the 2012-13 season, and knowing that he’s proudly displaying pads that were made in Michigan, it’s safe to say he’ll feel right at home when the NHL finally drops the puck!

It’s that time of year again, goalies.

The time has finally come for fresh paint, fresh lines, fresh gear, fresh goals, and fresh starts.

Regardless of whether or not the NHL drops the puck on October 11, the game of hockey as a whole is getting ready to kick off with another new season. Despite the bleak outlook on the NHL front, the goaltenders are preparing no differently. That includes breaking in and showing off brand new gloves, masks, and for some goalies, new identities as well.

When it comes to the authentic artwork created by Switzerland’s Airxess for Anaheim goaltender Jonas Hiller, there’s no denying that their ideas, designs, and themes are as fresh as they come. Creating a new identity for one of the world’s finest puck-stoppers may seem like a tedious task, but when you pair him up with one of the most creative mask artists in the world, ideas flow continuously.

Since 2008, thanks to our great friendship with Airxess owner Alec Voggel, we’ve been so very fortunate to witness and promote this continuous flow of Hiller’s new ideas and identities. From the early days with his first Tornado masks, to last season’s ultra-popular “Murdered-Out” black matted and special “Movember” masks, Hiller and Airxess never fail to prove that they’re one step ahead of the goalie mask design curve.

This season appears to be no different.

In what is a beautiful cascading combination of two previous Hiller mask designs, Airxess has successfully mixed his 2012 Winter Olympics mask with last season’s black matted mask to create a vivid hybrid of the two.

For those of you who remember Hiller’s performance for Switzerland in those Olympics, you will quickly understand why he chose to revive that mask’s design; he proved he was one of the most dominant goalies in the entire tournament.

“Hiller showed up [at the Airxess studio], and because his Olympics mask design was one of his favorites, he wanted his new one in the same style, and with the same composition, but with Anaheim Ducks icons,” Voggel said.

Customers and mask addicts have quickly come to love Airxess’ original work over the years due to the clean and bold look of each mask. Easy to see from afar, Hiller’s masks have been no different, as they always made a statement, regardless of the themes, colors, or designs.

The statement made by this mask? Hiller is mixing style with substance, and reviving the essence of a mask that he wore when he played some of the most impressive hockey of his life. After last season’s tumultuous first half, this time, he means business.

“Hiller wanted to represent the Honda Center and the California surfer’s lifestyle, and on the back, his Poseidon has returned! It wasn’t on his last mask, but now it is coming out from his number-one on the backplate in a very detailed way,” Alec explained. “Of course, the black is flat for all of the fans who wanted to see Hiller wearing a flat black mask again!”

You can add us to that list.

And what Airxess mask would be complete without some type of unique trademark artistry on it?

On this particular mask, all of the gold Ducks logos, plus the stripes on the crown, include a cool reflective gold effect, courtesy of Airxess’ Dan “The Man” Bongni. Alec made sure to mention that those were Dan’s specialty, and as you can see, Bongni certainly mastered them on Hiller’s new mask.

“The contrast of the gold on the flat black background will kick ass on TV,” Alec said. “Around the icons, there is even some shiny black paint, which gives the gold logos a cool 3-D effect and appearance. ”

As always, Hiller was impressed by the finished product, as you can see by his post on his Facebook page.

Along with the gold cage, the gold snaps, the Duck logo air vents and the small Swiss flag logos on either side, Hiller’s new mask pays tremendous attention to detail. The orange inner stroke around the entire mask helps frame this piece of authentic art in style, making it another quality Airxess masterpiece.

No matter who they work with, from pro goalies to beginners, Airxess always find a way to add one or two simple and clean elements that reflect the individuality of each customer and each mask.

We think this mask’s backplate is a perfect example of that unique individuality. We we’re really excited to see the return of Poseidon to Hiller’s mask, as that was essentially his signature piece of art. And again, with the black straps and the gold buckles, this thing is bold, beautiful, and totally unique.

When we first started promoting Airxess back in 2008, we were always so shocked and surprised at the quality of Voggel’s work. After knowing him for nearly five years, we can safely say that while we’re still shocked at his final products, we’re no longer surprised at the quality.

As we have witnessed time and time again, Voggel’s style, which is slightly ahead of his time, combined with Hiller’s concepts and ideas, is undeniably unique.

That’s what happens when you have the confidence to push the envelope of today’s mask artistry every single day.
